The family's roots run back to Hup Lee Cafeteria 合利餐室, a kopitiam at The Arcade by Collyer Quay. In 2003, a fish soup stall opened with no name and no recipe — just trial and error. Two years later came Yi Jia Chun 一家村, named for Mdm Goh's village. Today her sons Eric and Wei Sheng carry the family's brands across the CBD — and you can still find the original bowl back at The Arcade.
